Kannan enjoyed a successful international career with Michel Hécart. He became French champion, won Nations Cups in La Baule and Lisbon, and represented France at the European Championships. As a sire, he has ranked among the world’s very best for many years. Nino des Buissonnets won individual Olympic gold in London with Steve Guerdat, while Quabri de l’Isle, Molly Malone V, Paille de la Roque, James Kann Cruz and Dante belong to the international elite. Kannan once again topped the world ranking for showjumping sires in the 2024/2025 season. This son of Voltaire out of a Nimmerdor mare passes on scope, rideability, a willing attitude and a powerful canter.
