Galoubet A became one of the leading figures in French showjumping with Gilles Bertran de Balanda. He was crowned French champion three times and won team gold at the 1982 World Championships in Dublin, where he finished fifth individually. This son of Almé also made history as a sire. Baloubet du Rouet won three consecutive World Cup Finals and Olympic gold, while Quick Star, Touchdown and Skippy II also became highly influential in both sport and breeding. Galoubet A firmly established scope, explosiveness, fighting spirit and remarkably powerful hind-leg technique within modern showjumping breeding.
